Allow me to point out the process that determines these fights, for those who might be wondering what this comic has to do with anything.

Panel 1: I draw my character and the half of the panel he's in, then Tim draws his character and the half panel he's in.
Panel 2: I have a panel to give my fighter some personality, then...
Panel 3: I draw my fighter attacking and that side of the panel. Tim draws his reaction to the attack, then...
Panel 4: Tim gets a panel to himself to advance the story.
And so on...

Winner is determined by an agreed-upon contest of chance.

So I guess attacking first isn't much of an advantage.

Is Rutledge Honda from Street Fighter II?

I don't know who Rutledge Honda is... but if you're wondering where Barnabas Rutledge came from-- he was the easiest possible fighter to draw that I could think of during a jam comics meeting. And the name? It came from the ether. I guess it just sounded old and dull.

Oh, and I just noticed that "kiester" in the story should be spelled "keister". How humiliating.
